* (pixiv)
Tags ending in _(pixiv) indicate that what proceeds it is the artist's Pixiv nickname.
This is commonly used on danbooru when the nickname conflicts with existing artist names, which are not on Pixiv. Or, that the artist's Pixiv name is different than his/her usual nickname? (not sure about this last part)
This should be used when you cannot determine a proper artist-name tag, but CAN extract his/her ID from his/her profile. It is commonly used when the nickname on Pixiv has not been romanized by the original poster.
The # in unknownartist_(pixiv#) is used to generalize this tag for the wiki, but when used on a post it should be replaced with the artist's Pixiv ID.
Unlike pixiv_artist_request, this is not a request, but instead an indicator.
When images are transloaded by the Pixiv Transloader, it will auto generate an artist name using his/her login name from an image or profile url. If it cannot do so, it will use this or unknownartist_(pixiv).
